“World’s first pregnant man” would do it again with his new lady love

Thomas Beatie, the world’s first “pregnant man,” separated from his wife of 9 years in April this year but he’s already found love again, in the arms of another woman. They are so in love that they’re actually rushing to see who becomes pregnant first, he says in a new interview.

Speaking with the British tabs, Beatie reveals that he’s been dating day care worker Amber Nicholas, who is, we might presume, the exact opposite of soon-to-be ex-wife Nancy.

They’re in love, Thomas says, without revealing such details of their romance like where they met and when they started dating.

They’re SO in love that they’re already talking about having babies of their own.

Thomas, it must be noted, has three children with Nancy, all of whom he carried to term because Nancy could not.

Should Amber have the same kind of issues, Thomas would gladly step in, he says, as cited by the Daily Mail.

“Amber and I are totally smitten. We would love kids together and we are already discussing it,” Thomas reveals.

“Being pregnant was the most incredible experience, but we want Amber to do it this time around. I think it would be amazing to experience pregnancy as the father,” he adds.

Even though doctors have warned him not to have any more babies because he’d be putting his and their health at risk, Thomas is determined to step in for Amber, should the situation require it.

“It is just about which one of us would be more successful at having a baby. It is even possible we could both be pregnant at the same time. Amber suggested we both try to get pregnant and whoever gets there first goes through with it,” Beatie explains.

For those who don’t know who the “pregnant man” is, Thomas is legally a man but still has a womb. Until not long ago, he did not have male organs, but that changed as his marriage to Nancy fell apart.
