Another interpretation of the upcoming version of Windows hits the market

Even though Windows 8.1 is already alive and kicking, many users are still looking forward to Windows 9, the next full version of the operating system that’s expected in approximately one year.

A concept created by DeviantArt user p0isonParadise envisions Windows 9 in a way that will never see daylight, as it uses several elements available in other operating systems.

As you can see in the picture above, the concept borrows some design elements from Linux and Mac OS X, including the launcher on the left and the taskbar at the top of the screen. Of course, the file manager uses icons available in Mac OS X.

What’s more, the Windows Store comes in its very own window on the desktop, so you can search for Metro apps and run them on your computer without the need to stay in the Modern environment.
