Microsoft has already launched Windows 8.1 Preview and according to some unconfirmed reports, the company is also considering a second major update obviously called Windows 8.2.

While no specifics have been provided, DeviantArt user nik255 has created what he calls a concept imagining “Windows 8.2 Pro Preview,” a significant update for Windows 8 that would focus a bit more on the desktop environment.

As you can see in this screenshot, the concept addresses most visual elements of the desktop, including the Taskbar and the titlebar of every window. At the same time, the Taskbar now comes with dedicated controls for the media player, while the Start button is smaller and a bit more refined.

The Redmond-based software maker is yet to say a single word on Windows 8.2, so keep in mind that what you’re seeing here is nothing more than a simple design concept.
