Microsoft's new Windows 10 build 9926 comes with several enhancements in terms of visual appeal, as the company introduced a new Start menu and flat icons, but designers across the world expect even more from the new OS version, so they create their own concepts imagining further tweaks.

This is the case of this concept created by Russian designer Ilya Kalinin, who revamped pretty much every single side of the operating system in a way that makes it a bit more appealing to users who want Windows 10 to feature more aesthetic improvements.

The Start menu is one of the features that indeed got restyled by the design, and although it doesn't feature transparency, it still boasts a rather appealing look on the desktop, no matter if it launches from a taskbar placed at the bottom or at the top of the screen.

A second version of the Start menu with transparency is very likely to appeal to those who want to see such a feature in Windows 10, but live tiles are still there in case you wanted to go for the full Windows 7 design.

As far as phones are concerned, the new concept also revamps most features that are part of the operating system and which contribute not only to productivity but also to usability in both menus and apps.

Microsoft also planning further visual tweaks

Redmond itself is also planning to further improve the visual side of Windows 10, but at this point, only few details are available as to what features the company is trying to revamp.

The Start menu, however, is a priority for the moment, and a future Windows 10 build is expected to bring not only transparency but also the possibility of resizing the standard design in order to better display all its features on different screen sizes.

As for the concept, Microsoft will surely have a look at it, so let's just hope that some of the features that are imagined here could be part of the final product.
