A new week brings new downloadable games for Nintendo's current-gen consoles, the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS. Flametail and Don't Cross The Line have been released on the Nintendo DSiWare service and Reel Fishing Challenge II and Lead the Meerkats have been launched on the Nintendo WiiWare service.

Flametail is a title that tasks Nintendo DS owners with the cleanup of the galaxy. Using an incinerator pod, they have to dodge various obstacles and destroy space junk with the vehicle's burning tail. The game is priced at 500 Nintendo DSi Points. In Don't Cross The Line, players have to connect various boxes with lines, without crossing them, and the title costs 200 Nintendo DSi Points. Fire Panic is a puzzle game that has a 200-Nintendo-DSi-Point price. Flips: The Magic Faraway Tree is also available for the Nintendo DSiWare and can be purchased for 500 Nintendo DSi Points.

Reel Fishing Challenge II is a fishing simulator that contains 30 missions and that costs 500 Wii Points. Lead The Meerkats lets the gamer play as a small mammal that has to form its own pack and survive in the wild. They'll get to dig burrow networks to enlarge the territory and fight other meerkat packs. The title is priced at 1,000 Wii Points. Zoo Disc Golf is a twist to the traditional mini-golf genre that replaces the ball with a disc and it has a 1,000-Wii-Point price.

Nintendo reminds DS owners that they have the opportunity to get Photo Dojo for free until the 11th of June, 2010, when it will cost 200 Nintendo DSi Points. The game lets players take pictures of themselves with the handheld's camera and create fighters from these photos. Nintendo Power magazine journalist Chris Hoffman has created a game for WarioWare: D.I.Y. that can be downloaded for free under the “Big Name Games” initiative.
