If you thought wearable devices couldn't be creepy, here comes the Thumb Stylus to prove you wrong. This is a gory-looking accessory that’s supposed to help you better navigate on your tablet or smartphone.

If you hate leaving smudges on the screen of your beloved mobile device, the alternative is to use a stylus. The trouble is not all slates/smartphones are compatible with one and using a pen that’s not optimized for the particular device model you’re using can be cumbersome.

But fear no more, the Thumb Stylus is here (via VR-Zone).This atypical device is a finger-mounted wearable shaped like a chopped-off human finger. Isn't this lovely?

And if you purchase it, you’ll be killing two birds in one shot, you get a stylus for your device and a pretty scary Halloween accessory too.

Anyway, the principle behind this invention is a healthy one. The company behind the Thumb Stylus believes that using this extension of your own body provides users with a more intuitive touch-screen navigating experience.

More than that, owners can surf their tablet or smartphone using only one hand and I have to stress this out, this will be achieved without those pesky fingerprints that keep you awake at night.

Sadly for all you freakishness lovers out there, the Thumb Stylus is available only in Japan for the very affordable price of $15 / €11.
