One more concept that imagines a Start button in the “reinvented” Windows platform

Microsoft won’t offer a Start button in the upcoming Windows Blue, or at least that’s what we can all see in the recently leaked build, so third-party Start menu apps are users’ only hope.

DeviantArt user TheTechnoToast has created a new concept which imagines a modern Start button in a refreshed version of Windows 8.

While the entire interface of the operating system has been changed, the Start menu would most likely perfectly fit Windows Blue, especially because an Internet Explorer 11 shortcut is also available.

A quick link to the Metro interface is included as well, and so are icons for the most popular apps available on the Windows platform, including Skype, Firefox, Twitter and Windows Media Player.

As for the chances to see such a concept getting the go-ahead from Microsoft, we’re 100 percent this isn’t going to happen.
