You'd think that, on the audio market, a price of $1,200 / €900 would net something along the lines of a surround sound speaker system of some sort.

That's not how Samsung feels about things though. In fact, its latest product needs more money for the connectivity and wireless support, than for the sound technology itself.

Long story short, Samsung has introduced the AirTrack F850, a soundbar with NFC and Bluetooth, meaning that it can work with PCs and TVs as well as it can with phones and other wireless gadgets.

The 3D Sound Plus technology is available too. It can synchronize sound to match the motion and depth of images shown on a TV.

Also, the SoundShare technology was included too, for synchronizing the wireless soundbar to the television.

As for the sound itself, it can come in up to 350 Watts, 40W more than the F750, the predecessor. The physical size makes it well suited to HDTVs of 60 inches.

Sales will start in September 2013, next month as it were.
