It is actually treated with the same alloys used on high-end PSUs

You might be used to power supplies clad in brushed aluminum or other metals, but some are designed with alloys that give them the appearance of stone. Rosewill has decided to extend that treatment to whole cases.

So here we are, beholding the Rosewill Wolfstone desktop chassis, which looks like it's made of stone on the front. Unless you're fooled into thinking that it's actually wrapped up in closed-cell foam, which is equally possible.

Especially if it's the panel carved through by “claws” that your eyes land on first. An impressive example of an optical illusion there, to make one think that the chassis is a softie instead of something dressed in granite.

Anyway, the Woflstone case is a mid-tower ready to house any ATX motherboard, or platform smaller than that. Same for the rest of the associated, high-quality hardware that makes up a computer.

For those who want specifics, the top CPU cooler height is of 180 mm / 7.08 inches, while the maximum length of graphics cards is 400 mm / 15.78 inches. Sure, you'll need to pull out one of the drive cages for the longer boards to fit, but that's no different from pretty much every other mid-to-high-end case out there.

Speaking of which, there are eight 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch drive bays in total, split into two cages. One has 5 bays, the other holds the remaining three. That leaves only the 5.25-inch bays unmentioned. There are three of them, though only two have front panels.

Obviously, the third is meant to hold a water cooling tumor/reservoir, or the bottom side of its anyhow, since such things usually occupy the space of two 5.25-inch bays.

As you would expect, there's an I/O panel on the front of the Rosewill Wolfstone chassis as well. It offers two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 connectors, two audio jacks (audio / microphone), and the reset button. The power button is just below.

Finally, as you may have noticed, it's not just the front panel that looks like a wolf-clawed slab of rock, but the top as well (without the claw marks anyway). The scratches double as front vent, and let the LEDs of the internal fans shine forth.

There is a 120 mm intake spinner by the way, plus a 120 mm bottom intake, one 120 mm rear exhaust fan, and two 140 mm top exhausts. Rosewill went through the trouble of perforating the Wolfstone's “rocky” upper-most side. Sadly, the price of the Wolfstone is unknown.
