Most commonly, though, it's a source of irritation for whoever happens to sleep in the same room or bed with you, which means that it might be a good idea to find a way to stop them before they get worse. To be fair, snoring isn't exactly something that can be cured, unless it's caused by something wrong with your nose or larynx. Some people simply snore.

The Snore Activated Nudging Pillow does exactly what it says on the tin: nudges you when you start to sound like a chainsaw. Actually, a lot earlier than that. It doesn't let things get so bad.
When a snort evolves into nasal rumblings, the pillow inflates an internal bladder, causing the sleeper to adjust their sleeping position. That's usually enough to pull the rug from underneath the snoring.
The extra thickness is of three inches, or 7.62 cm, but you can adjust it to anywhere between 4 and 7 inches (10.1 - 17.8 cm).
The reason this is at all possible: a built-in microphone can detect the sonic vibrations particular to snoring, and is quick and specific enough to do it before the noise is likely to rouse the one sharing your bedchamber.
All in all, the Snore Activated Nudging Pillow measures 21.5 x 14 x 4.5 in / 54.6 x 35.6 x 11.43 cm and has a polyester cover that can be removed for machine wash. An AC adapter powers it. The price is of $149.95 / €110.
