It most likely happened to all of us. We were in a rush or we were simply not paying attention, and before we knew it, the damage was already done: we had sent the email to the wrong person.

To make matters worse, there were times when the email was in fact about the person in question.

Normally, one would think that there is no going back from this, but UnSend.it has come up with a way to avoid any such embarrassing situations. Just like the name suggests it, the service claims to remove any emails sent by mistake or on the spur of the moment from a person’s inbox.

It is still in early beta phase, but the developers claim that it should allow you not only unsend but also modify or make any adjustments to an email after it has been sent.

All you have to do is register for an account on their site and follow the set of guidelines.

The service is easy to use for everyone

According to them, there is no need for you to create an additional email address, you can just keep your old one, irrespective of the email service you have. You can have a Yahoo, a Gmail or even an Outlook email address, it really does not matter.

Furthermore, the UnSend.it service say that they can help you remove even the attachments of the email you accidentally sent, “The email itself will always remain in your recipient's inbox along with the subject line – however, all email message content will be removed.”

Gmail also offers this type of services for its users by using the “Undo Send” function. But this only works shortly after sending the email, while the UnSend.it can help you remove the email or any content from it even after it has been read by the recipient.

The company is set to launch in mid-April, and there's a lot to expect from them.
