The company rolls out new clip to show how its products can ease our lives

Microsoft has just rolled out a brand new video today that explains the way some of its products could change everyone's lives, no matter if we're talking about Skype, Windows, or Windows Phone.

The software giant is one of the companies that are investing big in technologies that aren't necessarily addressed to the masses and the “Empowering” ad that was aired during this year's Superbowl is living proof.

This new video is based on pretty much the same idea and showcases the story of high school graduates that will soon leave their families and move to college campuses. Of course, since keeping in touch with the family is quite an issue these days, Microsoft's technologies could really come in handy, no matter if we're talking about email, Skype, or messaging via Windows Phone.

This isn't necessarily an advertisement, but more like a proof that Microsoft's technologies could really help ease our lives. Not that products developed by other companies can't, but we're on the Microsoft news section here, so Redmond is clearly our key point of focus.

In the end, applause to Microsoft for this new ad and if you decide to watch it, don't forget to let us know what you think in the comment box after the jump.
