As I’ve told you a few hours ago, Microsoft would officially launch this month’s Patch Tuesday update today, trying to fix reported vulnerabilities in Windows, Internet Explorer, and Office.

It appears that some Patch Tuesday updates have already reached the web, as Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool 5.1 is now up for grabs for all Windows users.

As you probably know by now, this is a small utility that helps you get rid of specific forms of malware, so version 5.1 adds detection and removal capabilities for specific threats.

Of course, this new build of the application will also be included in the automatic updates delivered to Windows computers, regardless of the version you’re running, as it can be installed on all Windows editions currently supported by Microsoft.
