Pete Burns is not exactly what one might call a gorgeous lady and now we also have an explanation for it. The former Dead or Alive frontman (which topped all the charts in the '80s with their hit 'You Spin Me Around (Like A Record, Baby)') and an ex-Big Brother contestant finally opens up abut why he makes such an ugly woman. The foul-mouthed singer told the 'Daily Mail' that he is now suing a Harley Street plastic surgeon, the only one responsible for his deformed face. Pete says that, almost 17 months ago, he went to that doctor and asked him to remove the implants from his lips. Finally, he ended up by being convinced to have a product called 'Evolution' put in and then another, Outline Original. The two substances had secondary effects, leaving him with blisters and a bloated face. It took him 17 months in Italy and almost 100 other plastic surgeries to fix that. Burns says that, all this time, he was too sick and deformed to come out of his house and that he felt suicidal and depressed. Plus, he couldn't sing, because any more ample move of his lips made the pus come out. 'Not only was it agonizingly painful but it was physically repulsive in the extreme. It was impossible to lead any life whatsoever. I was unable to leave my house as I was so distorted with swelling and I might begin to discharge yellow pus from the holes in my face. At times, it leaves me seriously suicidal and depressed and I could have problems for the rest of my life.', Burns said. The problem now is that the two substances that the first doctor injected into his lips can no longer be taken out because they are too deep into the lip muscle. Apparently, he will have to undergo more surgery, in a bid to extract them little by little. Either way, there is no hope that he will ever be the same and probably that is what hurts him the most. Burns also said that his swollen lips cost him his career as a musician and an entertainer, because he was supposed to make a solo comeback in collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys and to release a 'Greatest Hits' album. He and his lawyers are now asking for �1 million in damages, plus some cash as compensation for the huge amount of money that he paid for corrective surgery. Lesson to learn from this: plastic surgery is not always what it seems to be!
