Federico Ciccarese strikes again, rolls out awesome new mockups

Whether or not Federico Ciccarese read my piece about iPhone concepts and how they stunk lately, the talented Italian designer hit me up today with these jaw-dropping images of his latest iPhone 6 renderings.

As always, Federico doesn’t leave much room for interpretation. What you see is what you get, and I truly hope it’s what we get from Apple later this year.

The form factor takes into account all the hottest rumors, straight from the most reputable sources, says Federico. The display sizes are 4.7″ 750×1338 px and 5.5″ 878×1568 px, both with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The design itself is a complete overhaul, with some relocated elements (the camera), an edge-to-edge display, and a tapered back similar to that of the iMac line of desktop computers. The corners are rounded, but the edges are... well, edgy (i.e. not tapered).

Check out the gallery below (including some comparison shots between the current-generation iPhone and the mockups) and tell me what you think.
