Microsoft showcased the new Windows 8.1 at both Computex 2013 and TechEd, providing us with the first glimpses into what seemed to be major improvements of some specific features.

The Windows Store will also be redesigned and, as we can all see in this screenshot posted on WinClub, it's going to adopt a much more modern look than the existing version.

Apps will be more easily brought in the spotlight and details will be provided without the need for opening the product pages.

In addition, the new store comes with a search box that's basically meant to help users quickly find a specific tool. Until now, the only way to search the Store was to use the Charms, so Microsoft most likely plans to make the whole thing a bit faster for both beginners and those more experienced.
