Flickr is home to some pretty talented photographers and some very good photos. While Flickr's goal has always been to enable people to share their photographs with friends and the world, but many artists have been also using it to get recognition.
And, in the past few years, to get paid too, thanks to a
partnership with Getty Images, the well known stock photo host.
Flickr users that believe their work is good enough can
request a review from Getty and may be invited to contribute to the Getty
Flickr Collection.
