Amazon has just updated its store today with a brand new listing offering us the first look at the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U GameCube Controller bundle.
The image shows several of the popular characters featured in-game running toward the controller, and it seems that Pikachu will be the first one to take it for a spin.
The bundle was announced by Nintendo, and it features a copy of Super Smash Bros., a GameCube controller, and most importantly, an adapter that can be used to plug up to four GameCube controllers into the Wii U home console.
According to the listing on Amazon, the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U GameCube controller bundle will go for $100 / €78, but Nintendo has not yet set the official pricing for the package.
Furthermore, the company has yet to reveal whether the adapter will be sold separately, a piece of information which long-time fans of the Japanese company are no doubt waiting for, as many people have a lot of GameCube controllers just collecting dust in a closet somewhere.
Super Smash Bros. will be released for the Wii U sometime later this year. For the time being, the game is out in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS, and is expected in North America and Europe on October 3.
