Microsoft is getting ready for the “back to school” season with a new advertisement, this time showing the advantages of a Windows 8 tablet against the iPad.

As you can see for yourselves by simply clicking the play button, a single student in the classroom uses a Lenovo Yoga tablet, while all the others have Apple’s very own iPad.

Of course, Microsoft brings several features in the spotlight, including the truly powerful multitasking support, but also the attachable keyboard that turns a simple tablet into a full-featured laptop.

In the meantime, Microsoft continues work on Windows 8.1, as the new OS update is supposed to spawn a new wave of devices, including laptops, tablets, and hybrids. Word is that most new units are likely to go on sale in October together with the first Windows 8 update.
