The battle between the web-browsers is about to get a new competitor as the Flock developers have recently introduced some innovative tools which might represent a threat for the Internet giants. Flock is not a very popular browser but it may come with new utilities which can boost its number of users. In fact, the users who might become interested in Flock would be the social networking fans because the browser is now a Social Web Browser. The concept is quite interesting: Flock now features one-click access for the millions of consumers who want to access social networks, photo sharing services or blogging technologies in a matter of seconds.

The browser was previewed at the TechCrunch conference and it is only a private beta but the developers sustain it will be released as a final product this year. The most interesting element of the new Flock version is a MiniBar implemented into the browser that would present the latest photos and videos published on several websites such as Flickr, YouTube or any of the social networks.
