You know, usually the 'Fashion Police' is all about picking on people for showing that they haven't the slightest idea of how to dress or to behave in public. That is why, until now, you got to read about how Pink pees in the street, Brooke Shields picks her nose and then eats her buggers (I know... totally gross!), about all those girls who like to go out without underwear (meaning either panties or bra or both) or without a proper visit at the beauty salon.
But, every once in a while, my stone heart actually feels good and melts when I see a celebrity (male or female) looking more than good - looking like a real role model that s/he is, a beautiful human being, with impeccable taste and even better, manners and common sense. You know what I'm talking about, 'cause there are too few cases like this so that must make them pretty memorable, right?
Today's post is just another example of the latter. The Golden Globes were held last night and I thought a few pictures of the most gorgeous ladies on the red carpet would brighten your day. Naturally, Angelina Jolie couldn't miss from the list... in fact, she is at the top of it!
Angie attended the gala with Brad Pitt (they're like inseparable these days) and she was... stunning! The only thing that marred such a beautiful moment was the fact that, while the photo shoot on the red carpet lasted, Jolie barely smiled, seemed too lost in thoughts, as if she wanted Brad to do all the talking. I'm not a fan of Angelina but even I can recognize gorgeous when I see it... fellow actresses, take heed!
Another stunning appearance was Jennifer Lopez (by the way, she has a new song and video out, 'Que Hiciste', freshly taken from her all-Spanish album) who, like always, looked perfect. The funny thing about her is that she is, in most cases, impeccable, seemingly with no effort on her side. Sure, I am fully aware that many thousands of dollars went into her look last night but, in my book, she still rocks!
Jessica Biel is another example women like Bai Ling, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears could follow. Without being too out of the ordinary or shocking, the former 'Seventh Heaven' star came off as stylish and elegant at last night's ceremony. Of course, her ass-ets (if you know what I'm talking about) are always of great help in winning the public.
Last but not least, I give you Hilary Swank. I know people say she's got horse teeth and what not, but I beg to differ. Sure, she's not a beauty per se but, what she lacks in that, she makes up in style. Donning a black gown, with a big bow, that strongly accentuated her wasp waist and slender bodily frame, the Oscar-winning star was all smiles for the cameras.
And there you have it. Just four out of all the beautiful ladies at the Golden Globes. Now, all that praising has gotten me really tired so I'm gonna leave you with the pictures and will see you again the moment a boob (or something better) pops out of someone's garments.
