This Internet Business Is Way Too Complicated for Jess

Jessica Simpson can't get a date and, lately, things have been so on the downside for her that she went surfing the net to find a guy to take her out. Anyone can imagine that after the public divorce from Nick Lachey and the whole debacle/scandal about dating John Mayer (a she-said, he-said business) but Jess found out that dating sites are not the perfect choice for her.

The story goes something like this: the singer began surfing said sites a while ago in the hope that she will find Mr. Right on the Internet. At one point, she came across the photo of a man who looked just perfect for her so she struck a conversation with him and eventually asked him out on a blind date with her.

Australia's 'New Weekly' Magazine writes, citing a close friend of Jessica's: 'Jessica logged onto the Internet to find male company. She found a picture of a guy in Los Angeles she thought was ideal. They arranged to meet, but when she turned up, she found out the sad truth - he was only interested in a "professional transaction". The guy turned out to be a male escort'.

When the guy told Jessica that he was there for the sex, so to speak, the singer bluntly told him to get lost, as she was not interested. 'Jessica was horrified and told him to go to hell. She wasn't that desperate', the source explained.

Apparently, the experience made the pop star decide that she never wants to go surfing the net again. 'She never imagined male hookers would be trying to cash in on the service. It's turned her off the web - and that was her main hobby', the same friend claims. Oh, the world we're living in!
