The wearer can turn into an actual car and drive around

The Transformers franchise has been around for a long time, and will be around for longer still, which means that a new cosplay or mech suit will show up every other month.

Here's the latest one, which is sure to drive kids into crazy fits of fanboyish squeals whenever it comes within their sight.

After all, it's not every day that you see a “robot” bending forward and turning into an actual car.

Sure, the vehicle is small, shorter than five-year-olds, but it has wheels and it's not afraid to use them.

It's obvious that the star of the video taken by Mohammad Tiba in Ann Arbor, Michigan, modeled his suit after Bumblebee, the black and yellow star of the three Transformers films, and the Transformers Prime cartoon.

It's not the full 16-foot / 5-meter height, but you can clearly see the resemblance. Alas, due to this being a suit instead of the actual robot, Bumblebee ended up with a significantly wider girth than in the films or series.

Not that anyone's likely to mind. It's a transformer, so that should be enough for onlookers. I do wonder what age the kid in the suit is though, if it's a kid at all. The height suggests it, but I've seen my share of short people.

Regardless, his attitude is admirable, especially since the first urge of the little girl nearby is to punch him after the turns into his car mode. And his suit gives "wearable technology" a whole new meaning.
