If you like beer (who doesn’t?) and Android tablets, you will be super excited to get acquainted with this new cool Kickstarter project, which aims to keep home beer drinking running smooth.

The Kegbot is a tablet-powered beer Kegerator capable of keeping track of the level of beers left in your keg, so if you’re throwing a party, you won’t have to worry about your guests being left high and dry while you run to the store to get more supplies.

To set everything up, users will need to plug the Kegbot controller board (the Kegboard Pro Mini) which in turn is connected to an Android tablet running a special app and a flow sensor on the keg.

Moreover, through its web interface the Kegbot allows users to view and manage their taps online, in case they find that useful.

The Kegbot Kickstarter page is currently gathering funds and for $149 / €108 pledgers will get a starter kit consisting of a Flow Meter, beer line connectors and the Kegboard Pro Mini. The app for the Kegboard is available for download for free.
