Portable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi speakers aren't the only ones that ship with wireless connectivity. There are home systems that use one or both of those technologies as well.

Creative has just introduced one such product, called Creative T3250 Wireless 2.1 speaker system. Obviously, it is a 2.1 system, meaning that it has two satellites and one subwoofer, for bass.

Bluetooth technology establishes and maintains the contact between the speakers and whatever PC, phone, tablet, or other device you decide to use as a host (1 meter / 33 feet range).

And if you should wish to connect the speakers physically, there is a 3.5 mm Line-In jack, ensuring support for analog audio devices as well.

The Creative T3250 benefits from Creative Image Focusing Plate, or IFP for short, for tonal accuracy and a good sonic directivity (the sounds are clear all around the room). The subwoofer has a perk too, in the Creative Dual Slot Enclosure (port tube that enhances bass).

As for the size, the satellites measure 147 x 70 x 75 mm / 5.8 x 2.8 x 3.0 inches, while the subwoofer comes in 222 x 183 x 183 mm / 8.7 x 7.2 x 7.2 inches.

Sales of the Creative T3250 Wireless 2.1 speaker system will begin this August (2014) for $69.99 / €52.
