Antec has already updated its Performance One Series of computer cases with the V3 models, but its press release dealt with more than just those two products, one of them being the revised Gaming Series Hundred Two.

The rate at which new products are released on the IT market has slowed down to a crawl over the past weeks, for several reasons.

The Chinese Lunar New Year is responsible for the time off of many suppliers, while others are just holding back in preparation for the MWC and/or CeBIT expos.

Antec is one of the few companies who still took the time required for the release of four updated cases, one of which is the Gaming Series Nine Hundred Two.

The newcomer is known as Gaming Series Nine Hundred Two V3 and has a few extra assets compared to the original.

For one, its motherboard tray has a cut-out for CPU heatsinks, meaning that cooling effectiveness is now higher than before (big CPU coolers with backplates are supported).

There is also a 2.5-inch internal drive bay, for HDDs (hard disk drives) or SSDs (solid state drives).

The other addition is the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity, present in the shape of ports added to the front panel.

All of the above, plus the rest of the feature set, are packed inside a frame that measures 493 (H) x 218 (W) x 472 (D) mm.

Antec threw four fans into the mix, two of which have a diameter of 120mm and are set on the front, while the 120 TriCool and the 200mm TriCool models are placed at the rear and top, respectively.

For those that want more specifics, the chassis has built-in washable air filters, eight expansion slots, a pair of USB 2.0 ports on the front, support for Mini-ITX, microATX, Standard ATX mainboards and a net weight of 25.4 lbs / 11.5 kg.

Full information is available here and those willing to buy it will have to part with $159.95.
