Guerrilla Games, the developer of the very popular Killzone: Shadow Fall first-person shooter on the PS4, has confirmed that more free multiplayer maps, as well as a third expansion for the online mode, are going to appear in the future.

Killzone: Shadow Fall made its debut as a launch day game for the PS4 last November, delivering a gorgeous first-person shooter experience that had not just an intense multiplayer mode, but also a pretty thrilling single-player story campaign that further fleshed out the universe of the series.

Since then, developer Guerrilla Games has rolled out many updates and patches for the game, while simultaneously deploying free multiplayer maps and different premium expansions that added fresh experiences to the game, like the Intercept co-op mode.

Now, after rolling out patch 1.5., Guerrilla Games has confirmed on its blog that it doesn't plan on slowing down the support for Shadow Fall. What's more, there are more free multiplayer maps, levels for the Intercept cooperative experience, and even a third online expansion in the works.

As such, Shadow Fall owners will have plenty of reasons to come back to the first-person shooter experience in the near future, besides the constant updates that appear rather often and always bring major improvements and new features.
