ifo AppleStore, the web site dealing with news and information about Apple Inc.'s retail stores, is reporting that a third such store has been confirmed for Australia. Located in the suburb of Chatswood north of Sydney, it will probably find its spot inside the city centre Westfield Chatswood shopping mall.

The Westfield Chatswood shopping mall is an indoor center along both a highway and a commuter train line. The decision was probably an easy one to take, since both routes bring in visitors from a wide area, according to ifo AppleStore.

The same source informs that the new store is "about seven miles north of the future George Street store in Sydney, which opens in April," while "job listings for this newest store have been posted," predicting an October 2008 grand opening.

Apple is also hiring for a new store set to open its doors in the downtown area of South Carolina, while the permit application, for King Street, has already been submitted. South Carolina, totally lacking an Apple Store up until this point, is finally getting the Apple Store it deserves. More precisely, the Apple store will be located at 301 King Street, in the downtown area of South Carolina.

In case you've forgotten, Cosmopolitan magazine claims that women are most likely to pick up single guys at Apple's retail stores, noting that "most guys are natural gadget lovers, and with sales of iPods and MacBooks skyrocketing, more men than ever are stopping by Apple boutiques. The vibe at the stores is conducive to man meeting too: You can check your email among cuties, take a free workshop on anything from Photoshop to podcasting (a great opportunity to strike up a conversation), or just survey the, ahem, good-looking merchandise."

So, if you're a single Australian woman looking for that tech savvy (and why not also good looking) hunk, the third Apple retail store is just one more opportunity for you to find your prince charming.
