The autobiography of Ronald G. Wayne, one of the three people who founded Apple, is now available on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iBooks and on your computer with iTunes.

Titled ‘Adventures of an Apple Founder’, the book describes the journey of Apple’s less known co-founder, Ron Wayne.

Wayne was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked alongside Steve Jobs at Atari before he, Steve Jobs and Wozniak co-founded Apple Computer on April 1, 1976.

Wayne drew the first Apple logo, wrote the trio’s original partnership agreement, and even the Apple I manual, as he served his role of the venture's "adult supervision."

His brief involvement with the Apple Computer Company (later called Apple Computer Inc. and now Apple Inc.) is detailed in the book’s summary on the iBookstore for $9.99 and on Amazon, where Apple enthusiasts can secure a 192-page hardcover copy for $19.99.

“In the spring of 1976 while working as chief draftsman and product development engineer at the video game maker Atari, Ron assisted a co-worker with the subtle intricacies of forming a small business,” reads the summary.

“It was with Ron's natural sensibilities, experiences, and skills honed over a lifelong career in many disciplines that he offered himself openly as a resource to two much-younger entrepreneurs: Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak. These same traits would drive Ron's decision to leave a short time later.”

“It is one of life’s profound realities that people rarely recognize ‘history’ while they are in the midst of making it. The events that transpired that spring would come to define such a case.”

According to 512k Entertainment, the publisher of “Adventures of an Apple Founder”, the book broadly talks of the Wayne’s experiences as a passionate engineer and designer spanning across “three quarters of a century, half a dozen industries, and a lifetime of adventures!”

A biography of Steve Jobs, Apple’s globally recognized co-founder and iconic CEO (now retired) is also set to arrive this year. It’s written by Walter Isaacson and you can pre-order it now.
