14 DAY TRIAL // Robert Hoffman, the former Us journalist who wrote a book exposing all the dark secrets of “reality TV queen” Kate Gosselin but was barred from releasing it until now, is speaking out. He doesn’t like bullies, he says, and this is his way of standing up to the huge bully that is Kate.
“Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, the Rise and Fall of a Reality TV Queen” is now available for order on Amazon, but it will also be getting a print version soon. Excerpts from it have made it out in print before, but the public never really got the chance to fully appreciate how much of a monster Kate is.
Make no mistake about it, this is exactly how Hoffman describes her, after researching for the book since 2009. She is a woman who came up with this plan to become pregnant with sextuplets and then to use them to achieve her own dreams of power and fame and riches.
She is a woman who never had one single maternal instinct or feeling, who used and abused all her 8 children with ex-husband Jon Gosselin in the most atrocious ways, from neglecting them so she could tan and work out, to admonishing them with a wooden spoon whenever they failed to comply with her orders.
Speaking with Radar Online, Hoffman says that the reason he decided to put the book out is that he’s come to believe that “things appear to have only gotten worse for the poor Gosselin children.” His first attempt at publication was barred by Kate in court.
“I don’t want to live with a ‘what if’ hanging over my head where children are concerned,” Hoffman says, making it sound as if this is his way of helping out the kids by exposing their mother to the world.
In the end, it could be that his decision is nothing but his way of standing up to Kate and showing her that he’s free to write whatever book about her he wants. Whichever the case, he wants the public to know the real side of Kate, the one that’s never shown on TV or in media interviews she does.
“I don’t like bullies. I don’t think anyone does. I don’t think anyone wants to live in a country where the people with the most money who can afford the best lawyers should get to automatically control the narrative, whatever that may be,” Hoffman says.
“I believe people have a right to hear all sides of the story and not just the side that the people with the most money want to shove down their throats. People are smart enough to make their own decisions and make up their own minds based on the facts. I think it’s time for all the cards to be put on the table and to let the chips fall where they may,” he continues.
