While it gets ready to make a strong push on the display market, Samsung is also operating on the camera segment, where it most recently prepared the ST77.

Launched in South Korea, the product is a particularly thin camera based on a 16.7-megapixel sensor.

It also boasts a 25mm wide-angle lens and 5x optical zoom, plus a variety of features that can be used to enhance photos: Funny face, Picture in Picture, Magic Frame, Smart filters, etc.

Of course, like all digital cameras of today, the ST77 can handle video as well, specifically in up to 720p HD quality.

Furthermore, Samsung claims that the item is suited for even times and places with underwhelming ambient lighting.

The Samsung ST77 measures 16.9mm in thickness (0.66 inches), weights 101 grams (0.22 pounds) and sells for 169,000 won ($151.59 / 114.19 Euro).
