Since he is not at all fit to play a match for Arsenal, French super-striker Thierry Henry is trying to do his best lifting up his colleagues' spirit.
Despite the disappointing performance in the Premiership opener - only a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium - Arsenal seems to have gained a new star for the future. His name? Theo Walcott.
And it was about time Arsenal matched rival Manchester United as to young talents. While Wayne Rooney already proved himself as the "new kid on the block" of English football, Walcott is believed to be stepping on his trails. And Henry seems pretty sure about that.
"We really saw what he is about. He was good, fresh-legged and he did ever so well to set up the goal. Full credit to him. We have not seen the best of him yet. But I am so happy for him, so glad. I hope he can also do it in the Champions League on Wednesday", said the French striker, according to "The Sun".
Moreover, he appointed Walcott as a future star for the English national squad. Soon after scoring on his first appearance for the Under 21 squad, Walcott could become the best pair Rooney can have inside the offensive line.
"I think he will be a future star of England and this game against Aston Villa is only the beginning. He is a great talent and he has an amazing first touch. You can't buy that. Normally, a sign of a great player is someone who makes a major impression on his debut. People think back and say 'He was amazing on that first game'", concluded Henry.
