Thierry Henry Is a Cheater

Things could not have gone any worse for the Spanish fans in yesterday's night clash against France. After finishing their group H with a perfect winning percentage and only one goal allowed, Luis Aragones' team had to watch Casillas receive 3 goals in less than an hour. And that certainly made the Spanish side very disappointed. And the sadness turned into critics over Roberto Rossini's refereeing.

Unhappy with the free kick received by the French team - after which Vieira scored the 2-1 goal - Puyol and Aragones tried to blame the referee for the result. More, they also launched
an attack towards Thierry Henry, the striker who managed to get the free kick in the first place - not a very long time ago, Spain's coach made some racist remarks over the French player too.

"If anything it was a foul by Henry", said Puyol after the match. The importance of the foul was stressed out by his coach too: "For me the referee blew for a non-existent foul for the second goal. As for the third goal, the game was practically over already when that went in". Well, they might just be right, but there's no turning back now. Still, despite all these accuse, Henry wanted to make it very clear that he is not a cheater.

"Spain's left-back Mariano Perina was going to win the ball so I don't know why Puyol cut across me, but he did. I don't cheat", said the Arsenal defender. Actually, his duel against Carlos Puyol is ancient history. It all began during the last Champions League final, when the Frenchman was very unhappy with the treatment the Spaniard gave him. Although he was constantly fouled by Puyol, he was never awarded a free kick. After that encounter, Thierry made a promise: "Next time I'll learn to dive maybe, but I'm not a woman".

Still, despite this aspect, Luis Aragones was ready to admit the fact that his team did not have the appropriate experience to overcome the French: "We have a very young team, who is still very much inexperienced. We will have to learn how to hold on to a 1-0 advantage in the future. We made 2 big defensive mistakes and that was it".

Its all karma. Spain has no right to complain...

They were on the receiving end of some bogus call for a penalty kick to go up 1-0...
France received just the same to go up 2-1.

1 bogus penalty kick to 1 bogus penalty kick. No complaints here.
