Thierry Henry Denies Scoring Crisis

Thierry Henry's injury after the World Cup seems to have affected the Frenchman in this start of the season. Not only that he didn't score for Arsenal in the Premiership this season, but he also failed to produce a scoring performance in France's 3-0 win over Georgia this weekend.

Still, the gunner doesn't seem too affected by it,
especially since the important clashes are yet to come. France will meet Italy on Stade de France in the mid-week and Thierry Henry is confident that he will begin his goal-scoring campaign in the Wednesday shocker.

"It doesn't worry me at all. I said I wasn't ready. And I'm going to repeat myself again, but scoring is the least of my worries as long as my team is winning. I'm getting there slowly but surely, little by little. On Saturday, we saw that I'm starting to find my feet. We are lucky to have a group of quality forwards and to have a number of different options", admitted Henry.

Still, the Frenchman will have to worry about scoring inside the Premiership, since Arsenal have only one point in 2 matches and the latest loss to Manchester City sure caught them off-guard. More, with lots of young players in the squad, Arsene Wenger needs Henry in his best form as soon as possible.

"With Arsenal, it's different. We still haven't won. But against Manchester City, on a good day I could have scored four times", concluded the Frenchman. Henry will pair with Real Madrid's former striker Julio Baptista in Arsenal's offensive, as Wenger's squad will try not to lose track of Manchester and Chelsea on top of the Premiership table.
