Eidos Montreal has recently delivered a new gameplay trailer for its rebooted Thief and many fans of the series have complained that the team has not yet offered any kind of information about how the enemies react to Garrett’s moves.

Joe Khoury, a producer working on the title, tells VG247 that, “The success of Thief as a concept is based on small margins and in a game where you can expect to spend a lot of time studying the AI, how that AI behaves in any given situation is key.”

The new Thief will rely on stealth mechanics, but gamers will always have combat options available to get out of hairy situations once they have been discovered.

Thief will be out on February 25 in North America and on February 28 on PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and current-gen consoles.
