In order to make sure that he will steal all of the items from his shopping list, the game-thief from Nashville, US called the targeted store and reserved his desired purchases ahead of the heist.

Just before the robbery, a caller rang the store and told employees to prepare some specific items for him to pick up. He claimed that he was in a big hurry while on his way to work, and had no time to linger or browse around the store looking for the merchandise.

The man's shopping cart included an X-box One NBA 2K14, the game Call of Duty: Ghosts and Just Dance 2014, allegedly destined for a child. He told the staff to pack them up for him, as he will pass by the store in an hour.

Moments later an armed man wearing a ski mask appeared in the shop, threatening employees with a gun and stealing the exact reserved items plus almost $600 (€443) from the store's cash register, notes The Independent.

When police officers arrived at the scene, employees told them that the thief had everything planned and he was quite in a hurry to exit the premises. He was caught on CCTV footage waiting in the car park two hours before the robbery.

The thief must have made the call also from the car park and he had a rather interesting plan, saving a lot of time by making the store staff prepare the items ahead of his arrival and by giving them no time to call for help while looking for the products.

“It shows the individual had a premeditation to create this violent occurrence by pulling the hand gun out on the clerk. He wanted to get out as soon as possible. He knew what he wanted and he had a plan,” Lt. Curtis Watkins, Metro police Detective said, according to the Independent.

The suspect was described as a man aged between 20 and 30, around 5.10 feet (1.55 meters) tall and wearing blue clothes, white gloves and brown boots. Police are still trying to apprehend the man.
