The Thief reboot will allow for pacifist playthroughs, as developer Eidos Montreal has confirmed that players can choose to not kill any enemy and complete the game's story in a successful manner.
Eidos Montreal delighted lots of fans when it confirmed earlier this month that it is, in fact, working on a reboot for the Thief series called simply Thief.
The game will star a new version of protagonist Garrett and quite a few things have already been uncovered.
Now, developer Eidos Montreal has confirmed in a post on its official blog that the new Thief game can be completed without killing a single enemy.
This so-called pacifist playthrough is possible because Eidos wants to emphasize that Garrett is a master thief, not a killing machine.
The new Thief will be released in 2014 for the PC as well as next-generation consoles, like the already-confirmed PlayStation 4 and the oft-rumored Xbox 720.
