We saw some pretty off the wall watch ideas over the years, but Tokyoflash may have managed to make some wrist watches that, while not quite as off the wall, are easy to classify as overkill.

Unless you really like LCDs, LEDs and touchscreens, that is.

Basically, the company made the Kisai On Air Black LED Watch and gave it a whole bunch of design options too, with black and silver designs and different LCD colors.

The list of screen colors, in addition to the natural looks of an LCD, includes red, green, blue and orange.

All of them have touch support (see the video for how it works) and display the time in a very stylized fashion.

“On Air's time display is minimal and intuitive. The digital numbers on the screen are the hour hand and point to the current hour in the same was as the hand on a clock. The digits on the screen are the current minutes. Reading the time couldn't be easier,” Tokyoflash says.

The price is a none too small $199 (153.13 Euro) and orders can be placed here.
