Earphones are easy enough to remove and stuff in a bag, but if you don't roll them up properly you might find yourself with a twisted, tangled mess when you try to pull them out and use them again.

Zipbuds is well aware of this, which is why it invented the Slide earphones, featuring what can only be described as a cable zipper.

There's a slide on it you see, which can be pulled up in order to merge the two earbud cables in a single whole. When you want to use the things again, all you have to do is pull the slide back.

ComfortFit2 design is employed to ensure that the buds stay in the ear without slipping. They are angles, with most of the weight supported by the back of the ears.

Integrated microphone and remote allow you to take calls and control a music playlist on your phone too. All the while, the ZBX High Performance Drivers should produce a fairly high quality sound. As an added touch, the Zipbuds Slide glow in the dark.

The Zipbuds Slide are not yet reality, but you can head over to Kickstarter and make a pledge of $29 / €21 – €29 to get an early shipment if the crowd-funding pans out (which it will, since half the funding goal has been covered in 3 out of 30 days). After that, the retail price will be $45 / €34.
