The two cameras are actually decorative and are not functional devices

Want to show off your inner nerdiness in terms of photography but don’t have the money to purchase a ridiculously priced Leica?

Well maybe you’d like to consider one of Fotodiox’s crystal cameras, which have been crafted to look like the Nikon D90 or a Canon 7D. The only problem is that these “devices” are purely decorative, so no, they won’t let you take pictures.

But once you take a look at these babies, you’re most likely going to be blinded by their physical beauty that you forget all about functionality.

The two cameras are 2/3 the size of their real-life counterparts and have been manufactured using premium-grade K9 crystal. The lens, handgrip, viewfinder, rear screen and some knobs were made of separate pieces of crystal and then attached to the main body.

The replicas follow the lines of the original products quite well, offering camera buttons, dials, knobs and setting.

Fotodiox isn’t pricing these crystal cameras extremely high and you can get your own if you have $90 / €66 spare. It might seem quite a lot for a decorative piece of equipment, but beauty demands sacrifices.

Fotodiox says you can use these crystal beauties as paperweight, book shelf or bookends.
