Central processing units are all well and good, but they tend to produce a lot of heat, heat that coolers need to dispense with. CPUs ship with reference coolers, but there are companies that make their whole living off launching models that are simply better.

German company PC Cooling GmbH has agreed to work with Thermolab, a company from South Korea, on the latter's two newest coolers.

They are called LP53 and ITX30 and are compatible with Intel CPUs, specifically LGA 1155, LGA 1156 and LGA 1150 chips.

The former has a price of €36.99 / $36.99 (no matter what exchange rates would have you think) and measures 100 x 94 x 53 mm / 3.93 x 3.7 x 2.08 inches. It also has a top sound output of 27.1 dBA, despite the top speed of 2,100 RPM (minimum is 1,000 RPM).

The full weight of the thing is 410 grams / 0.90 pounds.

The ITX30, with a price of €34.99 / $34.99, is a 100 x 94 x 30 mm / 3.93 x 3.7 x 1.18 inches and weighs 300 grams / 0.66 pounds.

Both the LP53 and ITX30 coolers from Thermolab have support for a TDP of 100W (or less) and two 6 mm heatpipes (copper). They ship under the "Cooltek" brand. As for the fans, they have diameters of 92 mm and 80 mm, respectively.
