Over the past couple of months, Thermaltake unveiled quite a number of Toughpower PSUs, each strong enough to take on any mainstream or high-end system. Now, the company decided to do something a little different while still making the best of this brand. What Thermaltake decided upon was the creation and release of a high-quality laptop AC adapter known as the Toughpower Ultra Slim 95W. Obviously, as its name implies, it delivers a current of 95W meant to recharge the batteries of any mobile PC or other compatible electronic.

This universal power adapter will be able to provide energy to notebooks and other mobile products. It will even be capable of pushing its output all the way up to 120W should a particular electronic require it. It also features multiple projection systems and nine interchangeable DC output tips. It is this collection of tips that actually confers upon it the wide laptop compatibility. Furthermore, the built-in USB power port will charge phones, PDAs, iPods and portable media players, among other things.

The Toughpower Ultra Slim has high power-conversion efficiency of up to 90% and a circuitry design that reduces energy consumption while also preventing the product from heating up. This is part of what allows for the high reliability, represented by the MTBF of over 100,000 hours. In addition, damage to the physical parts is prevented by means of Built-In Over Current, Over Voltage, Over Temperature and Short-Circuit protection. Finally, the device has earned Safety / EMI Approvals, including UL, CE, TUV, CB, FCC, GOST, and BSMI certifications.

“With the ultra slim size & lightweight form factor, Thermaltake’s Toughpower Ultra Slim 95W is definitely the perfect combination of mobility and stylish design,” states the official website. For user convenience, the Thermaltake Toughpower Ultra Slim 95W is bundled with a carry bag and has a price tag of $59.99.
