It appears that Thermaltake is determined not to let this year's Computex pass by without some sort of product launch, or at least a preview of what will come later, like some additions to its PSU portfolio.

Being the maker of cases, cooling and power devices that it is, Thermaltake didn't miss out on the opportunity provided by the Computex trade show.

For instance, it revealed the Frio Extreme CPU cooler, which works well with CPUs from both Intel and Advanced Micro Devices.

Now, the company has shown off not a new cooling solution for central processing units, but something that will keep them and all other hardware, running efficiently.

Basically, the outfit put together three new members for the Toughpower XT family of power supplies.

They are three in number and should start selling this summer, which can mean anywhere from right now to the end of August.

Either way, they all have an 80Plus Gold and even Platinum rating, meaning they they have a very high energy efficiency.

Considering their very high outputs, this means that the products will be able to cope with even heavyweight multi-GPU AMD CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI configurations.

For those that want specifics, the Platinum-rated PSU has a wattage of 1,275 W, while the 1,375 W and 1,475 W models “settle” for the next step down on that scale.

They all boast 140mm fans (which run up to 30 seconds more after shutdown, to disperse extra heat), Interleaved PFC circuit design (extra stability) and 105°C / 221℉ Japanese made solid state capacitors.

Furthermore, they come with an S.P.T. indicator (displays the Standby mode, the Power good signal, and the temperature of the unit) and Full Bridge & LLC resonance.

Unfortunately, much like the exact date of launch is not set, there was no information on the product prices either.
