Thermaltake may have recently revealed a new iteration of a certain, famous enclosure, but it seems to have developed something else as well, a chassis intended for the e-Sports hardware market.

Set to become available this very month (August, 2011), the newest case form Thermaltake has been revealed, complete with “the unique design for eSports look and feel.”

It is constructed out of steel, completely coated in black and, despite the company not mentioning any prices, listings reportedly have it at €52.15 or €52.63 with USB 3.0.

The product comes with five internal 3.5-inch drive bays (for hard disk drives or solid state drives), a 2.5-inch bay for SSDs (when said SSD comes without a 3.5-inch adapter) plus four exposed 5.25-inch bays (for optical disk units).

As one would expect from such an enclosure, especially one where the maker bothered applying a complete black coating, the storage and optical drives can be mounted free of tools and hassle.

Additionally, there is a window on the side, though it does not take up that great a surface of the side panel.

Furthermore, Thermaltake threw in a fan with blue LEDs (diameter of 120 mm, speed of 1,000 RPM) and the possibility of adding six more.

Of course, when air cooling is not enough, watercooling systems can be set up via the two pre-drilled holes at the back.

Finally, an I/O panel exists at the front of the chassis, offering either two USB 2.0 ports or just one, with the second changed to USB 3.0.

All in all, the Thermaltake Spacecraft VF-I, as it is called, measures 462 (H) x 216 (W) x 485 (D) mm and has a weight of 6.1 kilograms.

Users that want something more impressive and have the money to get it can examine the high-end, revised item mentioned above. It is described in detail here.
