Thankfully, this is not a real-life replica, so your lifespan is not threatened overmuch

For gamers that want their systems to shout loud and clear what their interests are, Thermaltake has created a new case, though it would be more accurate to say that it had someone change the skin of an old one.

The Level 10 case from Thermaltake has been one of the company's best-selling high-end products for years.

As such, it is understandable that more versions of it would show up over time, as has just now happened.

The company recently set a challenge for modders to turn the base item into something different.

Since Call of Duty turned into such a popular multiplayer shooter, modder Boddaker (real name Brian Carter) decided to evoke its themes when it made the new Level 10 GT.

The result was the Level 10 GT Call of Duty edition, a chassis that can be described as a PC enclosure/armory hybrid.

Pretty much everything on the outside resembles a gun of some sort, or a medkit, or whatever else soldiers use in the field.

The handle is styled militarily and made to look like a rocket launcher, while a six-barrel machine gun sticks out of the front.

The six barrels of the machine gun can even automatically rotate once power is plugged in.

All in all, this is a case that puts just as much stock on appearance as it does on performance and hardware support, though some concessions had to be made (the 5.25-inch bays were sacrificed for the barrels, for instance).

Alas, people shouldn't expect to see anything like this up for sale anywhere, unless Thermaltake really feels like working out a deal with the modder for marketing this thing.

If anyone wants to see the gun in action, Brian Carter uploaded a short video on YouTube, where he demos that very functionality.
