Thermaltake Released the Most Insane Case Ever

Ok, I promised I will not say (write) another word about CES, but this is too crazy to simply ignore it. Because Thermaltake took the liberty to produce the maddest case ever. The Sword M is a hand built limited edition PC case that simply blows you off in any known sense of the word.

I really don't know what to begin with when I'm talking about this real-life U.F.O. All the doors have pneumatic shock absorbers on them to ease opening, closing, and you can even fix them at a given angle. Oh yes, the top has two pneumatic doors also, motive for which if you open all the panels on this case, it will look like its ready to take off.

The inside of the case holds some of the biggest heatsinks I've ever seen along with not one but two watercooling systems. I haven't counted the fans but the overall picture looks impressive. The case opens and closes with a touch of a button so you won't have to unscrew anything here. It's beyond comparison, at least not with anything I've seen until now. And as an option you can add an LCD screen that will pop out from the front of the case just like a car DVD-player. On it you will be able to see all fan and temperature settings and if you like, even the desktop can be accessed from this little panel.

But all this comes with a catch. Since it is hand made, no more than 500 pieces will be built and I can bet that most of them will either end on trade shows or in the home of some rare hardware collectors. So I really don't know if any of you will get their hands on one of those. It seems that Thermaltake has finally learned how to make a completely exclusive product. Can you say Ferrari?
