While some companies have no qualms with occasionally rushing a new product to the market, in order to make the best of the growing demand, Thermaltake seems to be taking it a bit more slowly. In fact, the company seems to be quite meticulous when it comes to its products, or, at least, its PC enclosures. The Armor A90 seems to illustrate this quite visibly, seeing how long it took the company to bring it out.

Thermaltake has just made the official introduction of the A90, even though the product was fully detailed about a month ago. The time was probably spent on perfecting the design and making sure that the product brought as much aesthetic value as possible without causing the price to skyrocket. Basically, the chassis is meant as a, more or less, reasonably priced solution for gamers worldwide.

The Armor A90 measures 502 (H) x 210 (W) x 515 (L) mm, is built out of SECC and has a black “bulletproof” armor design. It can house standard ATX and micro-ATX motherboards and has three 5.25-inch bays, six 3.5-inch bays and a front I/O panel, with four USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA connector and HD audio jacks. There are also seven expansion slots, a small side window and a number of fans, including a top, blue LED 200mm (800 RPM) spinner and a 1,000RPM, blue, LED, 120mm fan at the front.

“As characteristic for Thermaltake chassis, special attention had been paid to optimized ventilation and airflow. Therefore one 20 cm blue exhaust LED-fan on top and one 12 cm intake blue LED-fan in the front have already been pre-installed and increase the combat spirit with light-effects. One more 12 cm exhaust turbo fan on the backside top further increases air circulation.[...] And the triangular window [...] lets your graphics card shine and allows for a look at your hardware so you can quickly check if everything is in order,” the press release states.

The Thermaltake Armor A90 has an MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price) of as little as $94 and is backed up by a three-year warranty. Naturally, full information may be found on the official product page.
