It appears that Cooler Master is in no way the only company releasing new PC enclosures, as a new product form Thermaltake has now found its way to Australian online stores.

As end-users, especially NVIDIA loyalists, likely know, Cooler Master released not just one but two NVIDIA-themes chassis over the past few days, the most recent one being a CM 690 II Advanced mid-tower.

Now, Thermaltake has also completed a mid-tower chassis of its own, one which bears the name of Dokker and has a special HDD/SSD dock to make it stand out amongst its peers and competitors.

Essentially, the product is designed for gaming, only it also attempts to also strike an affordable price point, knowing that not all gamers have the same financial means as users on the enthusiast market.

The mid-tower boasts four exposed 5.25-inch bays, which are meant to house ODDs (optical disk drives) or certain accessories, such as fan controllers or drive enclosures, among others.

The dock itself is placed at the top, embedded into the enclosure as it were, and supports both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard disk drives or solid state drives.

Basically, this means that, besides the storage units on the inside, owners will be able to plug one in the slot located on the top of the case whenever they so require.

There is also the advantage of a tool-less construction, which lets not only the storage drives but also the PCI cards be installed easily and quickly.

What's more, a front-placed I/O panel includes not just the audio ports, but also USB 2.0 connectors.

Other specifications include a blue LED fan with a diameter of 120mm at the back, support for five extra spinners and pre-drilled watercooling holes, two to be more precise, at the back.

All in all, the Thermaltake Dokker measures 470 x 200 x 485 mm and weighs 6.1 kg.

Those interested in the full rundown of the specifications need only stop by the official website, although orders can only be placed in Australia, where the chassis is listed with a price of AUD 89.10 (88.3 USD).
