Since playing the brand card usually works to entice a certain segment of consumers, Thermaltake took it upon itself to deliver an enclosure specifically aimed at AMD loyalists, namely a special version of the Armor A60 dubbed Armor A60 AMD Leo Edition.
As its name implies, the Thermaltake Armor A60 AMD Leo Edition is meant for the current and next generation of desktop platforms from Advanced Micro Devices.
Still, when it comes to the overall construction, this product is not all that different from the original Armor A60, its outer design being the main unique feature.
Basically, the enclosure boasts an all black design with a red color theme and the AMD logo on the front.
As for what end-users can put inside it, the whole thing measures 480 (H) by 210 (W) by 500 (D) mm, which is quite a bit of room.
First off, there are several drive bays, both of 5.25 and 3.25 inches, but the SideClick EasySwap-enhanced side panel is more noteworthy.
What this accessory does is allow easy access to three 5.25-inch exposed bays and one of the 3.5-inch bays, making it possible to install such storage units without having to remove the side panel.
There are also pre-drilled water cooling holes at the back, as well as three 120mm fans with a rotary speed of 1,000 RPM (rotations per minute) on the back and front.
There is also a larger fan, with a diameter of 200mm and a speed of 800 RPM that is placed at the top of the Armor A60 AMD Leo Edition.
Furthermore, the front and top fans have LEDs and the I/O front panel boasts USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0 ports, eSATA connectivity and, of course, audio connectors.
The Thermaltake Armor A60 AMD Leo Edition has a price tag of $110 and has already been
listed.
