There is more than one company that makers PC enclosures in this world, and Thermaltake is one of those that knows how to make a so-called gaming case, as proven by its newest one to get detailed.

While it might seem as though a company may be taking a break from things, the truth is that, even when things are eerily silent, engineers and designers are working on some project or another.

As such, one can be sure that, the more time off a company seem to take, the more likely it is for some new announcement to be made.

Thermaltake didn't have much activity lately, but it decided to break its silence by pushing something on the gaming PC market.

Essentially, the outfit detailed the Chaser MK-I enclosure, which was actually unveiled back at CeBIT but has only now received a product page.

The newcomer is, basically, a Full Tower model for gamers, meaning that it is large enough for even the most massive motherboards (except, maybe, E-ATX) and graphics cards while featuring aesthetic value to match.

There are four exposed 5.25-inch ODD bays, as well a six hidden bays for 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch storage devices (HDDs or SSDs).

Additionally, Thermaltake places a SATA docking station at the top, for 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives.

For cooling, the outfit put in a pair of 200mm Colorshift fans (three-color LED), on the front and top and back, respectively, while a 140mm one is at the back. Also, three pre-drilled watercooling holes exist at the back.

Finally, an I/O panel includes a pair of USB 3.0 ports, just as many USB 2.0 connectors, an eSATA port and audio connectors.

All of the above are packed inside a frame measuring 567.9 x 237 x 581.6 mm and weighing 11.6 kilograms. The case is coated black on both the inside and outside and features a side window.

Unfortunately, no price was given, meaning that it will fall to online stores to reveal this final information, whenever they happen to list the Chaser MK-1.
